Going to Alt Summit?

So if you haven't heard of Alt Summit then you just might want to jump on the bandwagon as soon as possible. I hopped aboard a lot too late last year and was so bummed, but this year I am all over it. ALL. OVER. IT. Even though the total cost is way overwhelming I am determined to make it work.

Thankfully I am able to drive because SLC is only an 8 hour drive so thats money saved right there. And today I booked a cheap yet clean and well-reviewed hotel which was a huge load off because everything is booking fast. There are three major conferences happening there at the same time and the Sundance Film Festival is that weekend as well so I snagged up the first great deal I could find. The hotel is only 10 minutes away (and Ill have my car so no pricey cab fares!) Now, fortunately for me I am shameless and pretty friendly... so I am totally open to and wholeheartedly hoping for someone to room with me, drive with me or both. It helps make the whole thing cheaper for everyone and that's a really good thing. So here is what I'm offering:

The hotel for Jan. 22 check-in to check out Jan. 27th is $300.

If you want to room with me and split that cost I'll throw in 6 months of free large ad space on this blog. Yes you read that right. 

The cost of gas round trip is going to be about $200. 

If you want to hitch a ride with me, all carpoolers will split it however many ways. And whoever hitches a ride with me will also get 6 months of free large ad space.

I like to think that's a pretty sweet incentive and I am really that determined to get to Alt Summit 2013 without breaking the bank. Plus, road trips are more fun with a friend. If you're interested, shoot me an email. GO ALT!
