New Artist Loves: Rebecca Rebouche

You may have seen this talented lady's work around the Anthropologie website and in their new magazine, but when I came across it I just simply fell in love. My heart beat went a little faster, the inspired feeling took over and I knew I had to share it with you all. Her work is full of beauty and whimsy and it makes me wish I had a few grand laying around. Her pieces, in my opinion, are well worth every penny. She herself seems to be such a delight. Anthropologie filmed this beautiful piece on Rebecca Rebouche, what she loves and how she works in her amazing treehouse studio. Yes, she has a treehouse studio. You read that correctly. How dreamy is that?

As borrowed from one of her product descriptions on the Anthropologie website, "Rebecca Rebouche, a native Louisianan living and working in New Orleans, creates nostalgic, emotive and whimsical art out of paint, mixed media and stitched soft sculpture; a practice best described as contemporary folk art."
This "Oh To Dream" quilt from Rebecca's collaboration with Anthro is totally sold out but I love it so much. Just makes me want to crawl back into bed on this gloomy Saturday morning.
And here are four of her pieces I would love to have in my home. Rebecca Rebouche is definitely an artist worth checking out. Each little detail is more special than the one before. You can find her Etsy shop here... I hope she adds more pieces soon!
